News from the Light+Building!
The long waiting has been worthwhile – for our u::Lux team the Light+Building 2016 was a great success! Also the fair organiser was pleased about this record-breaking fair.
Regarding the number of visitors, exhibitors or exhibition area the Light+Building could further strengthen its position as the world’s leading trade fair for light and building technology. It was the first time for us as official exhibitor at at the Light+Building. And the response to our integrated room controller was overwhelming! Our numerous visitors were excited about our NEW u::Lux product.
For all who could not be there - here comes a little hint: instead of the usual power supply for Ethernet the new u::Lux product only requires a little green cable…yep, right: we extend our product range with the u::Lux Switch with KNX-TP connection for the worldwide KNX standard for building technology. It will be available from 3rd quarter of 2016. Optically there is no difference to its older “brothers” with Ethernet connection, the u::Lux Switch RJ45 and the u::Lux Switch IDC with high resolution colour graphic display and 4 haptic keys. But the connection technology makes the difference: through the green KNX-TP cable. Therefore no additional components are required. The KNX-TP switch is programmable directly in the ETS – without any plug-ins.
Besides our new u::Lux product also our u::Lux Switches for extremely fast Ethernet caused praise and astonishment. Each of our products has its individual advantages depending on the type and equipment of building technology and offer furthermore a user-friendly operating concept for modern building controls.
At this point we want to thank our control partner iBricks Solutions. Reinhold Keller demonstrated additional u::Lux functions with the iBricks home control! Our visitors where impressed by the way how to use the u::Lux Switch as an intercom system or for video monitoring. A highlight was also the self-created music playlist which could be played and operated throug the u::Lux Switch with best sound from the Sonos loudspeaker. You want to see how it works? We would also like to thank our control partners B-Control and Comexio which presented our „switch allrounder“ on their stands.
Furthermore a SPECIAL THANKS to our numerous guests at our booth. Their incredibly positive feedback and interest was the best experience at the fair for us.
